I was the Project Lead of Skill Series, an Enactus Ontario Tech project that focuses on providing meaningful education on topics that are not covered in a standard university or college program. This includes filling taxes, staying active, how to study better, etc. We ran our workshops online using YouTube Live and used social media such as Facebook and Instagram to gain exposure with students. Furthermore, Skill Series focuses on bringing in guest speakers with industry experience to our workshops so that students can learn from professionals in the topic that we were covering. We had the universities' lead fitness representative at our healthy living workshop, and the CEO and Founder of CloudTax, a Canadian tax filing software, to talk at our tax workshop.

As Project Lead, I led a team of 7 students to create 8 dynamic workshops which had over 700 viewers. I oversaw all aspects of Skill Series, from the marketing, budget, content, and competition talking points. Due to my application to the RBC Future Launch Project Accelerator, Skill Series was able to receive a grant of $3000 to cover our expenses. I worked with the team to create influential marketing ads that we ran on Facebook and Instagram to attract students to our project, and spoke directly to our guest speakers before and after our workshops. I had to manage my team effectively so that we could create informative and engaging videos for our YouTube channel and inspire students to pick up a new skill or hobby.

On top of Project Lead, I also helped out at the Enactus regional and national competition where I assisted in directing and editing the presentation videos. I also taught a fellow Enactus student on how to edit videos so that they could take over my role in the future.

I was the lead for managing the Enactus Ontario Tech main Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. I had to create a content plan that showcased the work that we were doing to a wide range of users. I had to also stay creative on what type of content would be shared so that we can get the most engagement on our posts. This also included creating meaningful ads to boost our recognition on and off campus. I also assisted in creating videos to promote Enactus on campus and get other students motivated to join our projects.

I continued on as lead photographer and documented our events on campus on our social media accounts. I took my knowledge as a photographer and held a Skill Series Introduction to Photography workshop where I showcased various tips and tricks to 25 eager students.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the regional and national presentations were video submissions. I helped direct these videos for both competitions and was the sole editor on all of the videos. I had to help make them engaging and creative so that our work could be presented in an unique manner to stand out.

I was the lead photographer for the year and I assisted the social media team to share our achievements. At the regional and national competition, I was tasked with photographing the events and helping setup the presentations. I also designed the PowerPoint presentations that were used to accompany the presenters.
